Advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in School Psychology: Be the Change

Individually and collectively, it is now more important than ever that we engage in intentional sustained action to advocate for advance diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI) the field of school psychology. To create positive change momentum sustain it, essential psychology colleagues, organizations, entities—including journals—identify how each can contribute advancing DEI efforts. Herein, School Psychology Review leadership team offers a brief summary several our efforts, date, scholarship. These actions toward accountability include (a) establishing individual collective commitments advocating as foundation scholarship; (b) diversifying journal leadership; (c) editorial advisory board; (d) preparing future diverse through mentored fellowship programs, especially focused on early research career individuals; (e) mentoring colleagues by student board with members from backgrounds; (f) focusing special topics relevant minoritized children, youth, families, communities; (g) making available professional-development opportunities resources; (h) plan DEI. All entities are invited individually collectively join us Be Change sustaining efforts scholarship.IMPACT STATEMENTThe outlines inclusivity Actions discussed include: commitments; leadership, well infrastructures support further development contributions students colleagues; inclusion.
